Job Description We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage secure cloud solutions in a Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, DevOps implementation, and cloud security while ensuring compliance with government security standards and best practices. This role requires strong expertise in cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, cloud security, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and deploy secure cloud solutions on Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) and Commercial Cloud (CC) environments. Design cloud-native architectures with a strong focus on scalability, availability, security and compliance. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM or equivalent technologies. Develop, configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent DevOps platforms. Deploy, configure, upgrade and maintain cloud infrastructure, servers, storage and networking components. Implement cloud security controls, network boundary controls and security best practices across cloud environments. Monitor cloud resources, troubleshoot issues, optimise cloud utilisation and recommend cost improvements. Collaborate with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), vendors and project teams to implement cloud enhancements and security improvements. Support Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives and end-to-end DevOps implementation. Ensure compliance with Government ICT policies, IM8 requirements, cybersecurity and data security standards. Prepare solution design documents, technical documentation, operational guides and user documentation. Support project implementation, testing, deployment, documentation and production support activities. Participate in Agile project delivery and continuously improve cloud operations and deployment processes. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud architecture, cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure. Hands-on experience implementing and managing AWS cloud environments. Good understanding of AWS and Azure (or Google Cloud Platform ) cloud technologies. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform , ARM Templates or equivalent. Experience with Azure DevOps , CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and scripting using PowerShell or equivalent. Experience deploying High Availability (HA) solutions for enterprise applications and databases. Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure including servers, storage, backup and networking. Familiarity with Windows and Unix/Linux server administration. Understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Problem and Configuration Management. Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications AWS, Microsoft Azure or other cloud certifications. Experience supporting Singapore Government or Public Sector projects. Knowledge of Government Commercial Cloud (GCC), IM8, cybersecurity, data governance and compliance requirements. Experience implementing cloud security best practices and security automation.
