About this role

Job Summary You will lead the execution of mechanical engineering tasks to ensure timely project delivery aligned with ISO 9001 & 14001 standards. Collaborate with customers, vendors, and cross-functional teams to design, review, and support manufacturing and assembly of material handling systems. Responsibilities Complete all drawings, bills of materials, purchase requisitions, and quality checks according to project schedules and ISO 9001 & 14001 processes Conduct design reviews by analyzing specifications, sketches, drawings, and related data to evaluate component designs and establish procedures and instructions Collaborate with customer representatives to clarify specifications and resolve installation-related inquiries Support manufacturing, assembly, debugging, and customer acceptance processes to ensure product quality and functionality Prepare technical reports, manuals, and support documentation to facilitate project execution and customer understanding Interpret and apply mechanical drawings, including piece part and assembly drawings, work instructions, and procedures to guide production Determine appropriate manufacturing methods, techniques, and procedures to ensure designs meet performance requirements Design test fixtures and setups as needed to validate product designs and support testing activities Communicate effectively with vendors to facilitate procurement and resolve supply chain issues Perform additional project-related functions to meet schedules and delivery targets Execute other roles as assigned by the Project Manager to support project success Preferred competencies and qualifications Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical field 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering and material handling systems across multiple industries Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for technical drawing and 3D modeling Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for producing precision technical drawings and models Understanding of engineering science and technology principles applied to design and production Familiarity with design principles related to steel and aluminum part creation, sub-assembly, and pneumatics Ability to work independently in designing and liaising with customers on technical specifications and requirements Effective participation and communication in group discussions and meetings Ability to collaborate productively in team environments Proficiency in MS Office applications for documentation and communication
