Finance Manager An established organisation is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee its group financial reporting function, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting across the organisation. This role offers the opportunity to partner with multiple business entities, drive reporting excellence, and contribute to finance transformation initiatives through process improvements and system enhancements. Some of the key responsibilities will include: • Lead the preparation and coordination of monthly management reports, financial reporting packages, and statutory reporting deliverables to ensure timely and accurate reporting across the organisation. • Oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring compliance with Group reporting policies, reporting standards, and established reporting timelines. • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure reporting while providing meaningful financial analysis to support business planning and management decision-making. • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, subsidiaries, tax agents, and external auditors to support statutory reporting, GST compliance, tax filings, and year-end audit requirements. • Review reporting schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to maintain the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial information. • Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting processes, internal controls, and reporting governance to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery. • Support ERP and financial systems enhancement initiatives, including reporting automation and SAP-related projects, to improve reporting capabilities and data integrity. • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights, resolve reporting matters, and support ad hoc finance projects and business initiatives. To be eligible for this role you will require: • Degree in Accounting or a related discipline, with professional qualifications such as CA or ACCA considered advantageous. • At least 5 - 8 years of accounting and finance experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity, with strong exposure to financial reporting. • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, audit coordination, statutory compliance, and internal controls within a corporate environment. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information and provide meaningful business insights. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working collaboratively across business units and engaging senior management. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with prior experience in SAP or similar enterprise reporting platforms considered advantageous.
