Mechanical Specialist

Responsibilities: Contribute and drive continuous work process improvements in safety, waste elimination, cost improvement and productivity improvement Participate in reliability engineering analysis to drive continuous uptime improvement through defect elimination, troubleshooting and conducting detailed failure analysis. Perform verification, validation and analysis of past equipment history & current data. Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment. Execute predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance program for mechanical equipment on a timely basis. Provide support to the plant operations to improve reliability of equipment. Perform non-destructive testing and analysis on mechanical equipment such as Vibration Analysis and Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement. Requirements: ‘O’ Level; Professional Certificate/NITEC in Mechanical Technology or equivalent. Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in chemical or petrochemical industry. Hands-on experience on fix and rotating equipment maintenance. Good team player. Possess good written & verbal communication skills.
