We are seeking a passionate Teacher of Japanese to deliver engaging lessons to students in a multicultural learning environment. The successful candidate will support students in developing their Japanese language proficiency while contributing to the wider school community. Qualifications AJLC certification or equivalent is preferred Non-native speakers are welcome to apply (JLPT N2 or above required) Only Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents may apply Experience Preferably at least 2 years of experience teaching Japanese Prior experience working in a school setting is an advantage (as duties include administrative roles, extracurricular activities (ECA), conducting parent-teacher conferences in English, and preparing report cards and assessments) Candidates will be required to conduct a demo lesson during the interview (without students) Language Requirements Native-level Japanese or JLPT N2 and above Strong English communication skills Ability to teach Japanese in English to non-native Japanese students (indirect teaching method) Ability to independently handle communication with English-speaking parents, participate in school meetings, and understand instructions in English Non-native Japanese speakers are welcome to apply as long as they have JLPT N2 or above (or equivalent).
