Clinic Assistant

Clinic Assistant Working Location: Parkway East Hospital Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.30am to 5pm Saturday: 8.30am to 1pm Sunday and Public Holiday closed Salary: $2,400 - $3,500 , depending on experience Job Responsibilities: Answer phone calls and attend to patient enquiries in a professional manner. Schedule, coordinate and manage patient appointments. Assist with patient registration and ensure smooth clinic flow. Chaperone doctors during consultations when required. Assist with basic clinic procedures and provide support to nurses / doctors when needed. Coordinate and arrange timing for inpatient procedures or admissions. Liaise with insurance companies on claims, pre-authorisations and related matters. Assist with medication dispensing and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Manage clinic inventory, including stock take and replenishment of supplies. Tabulate and reconcile daily clinic financial takings and transactions. Perform general clinic administrative duties and other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Relevant working experience in clinic, specialist clinic, hospital or healthcare setting will be an advantage.
