The successful candidate will work closely with our curriculum team to develop structured, engaging, and high-quality Mathematics teaching and learning materials aligned with the Singapore MOE Primary Mathematics syllabus. π POSITION Freelance / Part-Time Math Curriculum & Education Assistant (Term 4 Curriculum Development) π KEY RESPONSIBILITIES β’ Develop and organise the Term 4 Mathematics curriculum for Primary 1 to Primary 6 β’ Plan curriculum content, topics, learning objectives, and weekly lesson progression β’ Create lesson plans, worksheets, practice exercises, and revision materials β’ Develop differentiated questions ranging from foundational practice to higher-order thinking and problem-solving β’ Prepare accurate answer keys with clear, step-by-step solutions β’ Create PowerPoint lesson materials and other teaching resources where required β’ Review, edit, proofread, and improve existing Mathematics curriculum materials β’ Ensure curriculum content is aligned with the Singapore MOE Primary Mathematics syllabus and appropriate for each primary level β’ Research and benchmark relevant question types, teaching approaches, and curriculum standards β’ Work closely with the curriculum team to review, refine, and enhance materials based on feedback β’ Complete assigned curriculum work according to agreed timelines and quality standards β
REQUIREMENTS β’ Diploma, Degree, or currently pursuing studies in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Science, or a related field β’ Strong foundation in Primary Mathematics β’ Familiarity with the Singapore MOE Primary Mathematics syllabus is highly preferred β’ Able to develop clear, structured, and age-appropriate learning materials β’ Able to explain mathematical concepts and provide accurate step-by-step solutions β’ Strong attention to detail and accuracy β’ Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; familiarity with Google Workspace or Canva is an advantage β’ Responsible, organised, proactive, and able to work independently β’ Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, curriculum development, worksheet creation, or educational content development will be an advantage β° WORK ARRANGEMENT β¨ Freelance / Part-Time, assignment-based engagement π Work-from-home arrangement is available for suitable assignments π’ On-site collaboration at our Marine Parade centre is required for a minimum of 2β3 days per week, depending on project requirements π
