Temporary Junior Procurement Buyer (1 Year Contract)

Job Description: Source and evaluate new suppliers to support procurement and supply chain activities. Assist in vendor qualification and work closely with the Quality team to select suitable suppliers. Confirm parts specifications during sourcing and new product introduction. Request and evaluate supplier quotations (RFQs) based on the Bill of Materials (BOM). Assist in cost analysis and price comparisons to support cost-saving initiatives. Support price negotiations and supplier communications under the guidance of senior team members. Maintain procurement records and ensure data accuracy in the ERP/MRP system. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering (Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical), or a related discipline. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with up to 2 years of relevant working experience are also encouraged to apply. Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage but not essential. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel. Exposure to ERP/MRP systems (e.g. Oracle) is an advantage but not required, as training will be provided. Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills. Eager to learn, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Willing to work overtime when required.
