Job Summary: We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Executive to support the implementation, administration, and maintenance of the organisation's cloud and IT infrastructure. The role is responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and reliability of cloud services and enterprise infrastructure while supporting digital transformation initiatives and day-to-day infrastructure operations. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to implement infrastructure solutions, maintain cloud environments, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and ensure compliance with organisational cybersecurity and governance standards. Principal Responsibilities and Duties: Support the implementation, administration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Azure services and hybrid cloud environments. Monitor and maintain enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, virtualisation platforms, and backup solutions. Support user administration, identity and access management, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Microsoft 365. Perform system monitoring, health checks, patch management, and routine maintenance activities. Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure, network, and cloud-related incidents, coordinating with vendors where necessary. Support infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and technology refresh initiatives. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely resolution of incidents and delivery of infrastructure services. Maintain infrastructure documentation, asset inventories, system configurations, and standard operating procedures. Ensure infrastructure complies with organisational cybersecurity policies, governance requirements, and security best practices. Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity activities. Provide technical support and advice to internal users on infrastructure-related matters. Participate in after-office-hours maintenance activities when required. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud infrastructure support. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure. Good understanding of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory). Basic knowledge ofWindows Server administration. Familiarity with virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, and Wi-Fi. Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and infrastructure monitoring tools. Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and infrastructure security. Experience working with external vendors and managed service providers would be an advantage. Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g. AZ-900 orAZ-104) would be an advantage. Vendor Coordination - Works effectively with vendors and service providers to support infrastructure maintenance and issue resolution. Cybersecurity Awareness - Applies cybersecurity best practices and complies with organisational governance, policies, and security standards. Planning & Organisation - Manages multiple operational tasks effectively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Communication - Communicates clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and provides timely updates on infrastructure matters. Teamwork - Works collaboratively with colleagues, vendors, and business users to achieve organisational objectives. Adaptability - Demonstrates willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business and infrastructure needs. Accountability - Takes ownership of assigned tasks, follows through on commitments, and delivers work with professionalism and integrity.
