About this role
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Job Coach to empower lower-income clients in achieving sustained employment and career growth. This role involves personalized coaching, skills training, and employment planning while addressing barriers to work. The Job Coach will also build partnerships with employers and community stakeholders, provide in-job support, and conduct group sessions to empower clients in their career journey. Main Responsibilities: Provide individualised consultations and coaching sessions to lower-income clients to achieve sustained employment and employment goals. Assess the training needs and develop training plan for lower-income clients. Assess lower-income clients’ stressors and employment barriers and develop necessary interventions. Provide training and advisory to lower-income clients in job skills such as resume writing, job search, interviewing skills, navigating employment landscape, etc. Build rapport, engagement and cultivate a positive relationship with clients. Collaborate and establish partnerships with employers, social service agencies, community, volunteers and stakeholders. Provide in-job support to clients to sustain employment. Conduct group sessions/activities. Working Conditions: 5 day work week: Mon-Fri Attractive remuneration and staff benefits Location - North / Northeast Essential Skills and Qualifications: Degree holder with at least 3 years of work experience, preferably in social service, job coaching and/or human resources Experience in job coaching or client-facing roles would be advantageous Passionate and committed to work with lower-income clients Good communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Able to work independently and handles administration. Able to work on weekends when required.
