Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced, proactive, and adaptable Marketing EventsSpecialist to join our team. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who genuinely enjoys the operational side of events—from layout planning to on-site delivery. Working in a fast-paced, demanding industry, you will be the reliable operational anchor on the ground, collaborating closely with internal teams and managing real-time variables with composure. If you area collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills and a practical, zero-ego approach to getting things done, we would love to have you on our team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Event Operations & On-Site Execution End-to-End Event Delivery: Plan, coordinate, and execute event operations from setup to teardown, ensuring all venue logistics, booth installations, equipment, and technical requirements are completed efficiently. On-Site Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact during events, identifying operational issues and implementing timely, practical solutions to ensure smooth event execution. Manpower Coordination: Recruit, brief, and supervise on-site staff, ensuring all personnel understand their responsibilities, event schedules, and safety and security procedures. 2. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams to coordinate event requirements and ensure successful project delivery. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with vendors, contractors, venue representatives, and relevant authorities to ensure timely delivery of services and compliance with operational and regulatory requirements. 3. Marketing & Event Support Marketing Campaign Support: Assist in the execution of integrated marketing campaigns to promote events through both digital and offline channels, driving audience engagement and attendance. Event Collateral Coordination: Coordinate the development, production, and distribution of event-related marketing materials, including digital content, email campaigns, presentation materials, and event documentation. Administrative & Project Support: Provide administrative and operational support for marketing initiatives and contribute to ad hoc projects and departmental activities as required. This version is suitable for an Event Executive , Marketing Executive (Events) , or Event & Marketing Executive role and follows a more standard corporate JD format. Who You Are: Experience & Industry Knowledge Proven Event Operations Experience: Relevant 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in planning and executing exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, or large-scale corporate events. Experience in Regulated Industries: Prior experience in fast-paced, highly regulated industries such as Defence, Aerospace, Security, or related sectors is an advantage. Able to work in environments where accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail are critical. Strong B2B Event Knowledge: Good understanding of B2B event management, including corporate hospitality, client engagement, and the delivery of professional events for business audiences. Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks effectively, and deliver successful events within tight deadlines. Excellent Communication & Coordination Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and external stakeholders. Adaptable & Solutions-Oriented: Proactive, resourceful, and able to remain composed under pressure while resolving operational challenges in a fast-paced environment. Core Competencies: Able to think quickly, respond effectively to changing priorities, and resolve operational challenges while maintaining smooth event execution. Organised, and solutions-focused in fast-paced environments, managing tight deadlines and unexpected situations with professionalism. A collaborative and hands-on team player who is willing to support the team wherever needed to ensure successful event delivery. Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, contractors, venue partners, and senior management.
