Fx Cfd Dealer

An established global CFD and FX broker is expanding its APAC Dealing Desk and is seeking an experienced Dealers to manage live market risk during Asia-Pacific trading hours. This is a front-office dealing role where you will be responsible for taking client flow onto the firm's book, managing market risk, pricing products, hedging exposures, and running the desk's PCL. This is not a sales trading or execution-only role. The successful candidate will have genuine dealing experience and be comfortable making real-time risk decisions across multiple leveraged CFD asset classes. Key Responsibilities · Manage a live leveraged CFD dealing book throughout APAC trading hours. · Act as a market maker by taking client flow onto the firm's balance sheet and actively managing resulting market risk. · Monitor and manage desk exposure, position sizing, PCL and overall risk within approved limits. · Perform manual hedging activities to effectively manage market exposure. · Produce competitive pricing across multiple CFD asset classes. · Continuously monitor client trading flow and determine appropriate levels of risk the firm is prepared to warehouse before hedging. · Work closely with the London dealing desk to provide seamless 24-hour market coverage and ensure smooth handovers between regions. · Monitor market events and liquidity conditions that may impact pricing and risk. · Collaborate closely with internal dealing, trading and risk teams to optimise execution and risk management processes. · Maintain disciplined execution while ensuring strong commercial judgement in managing the firm's trading book. Products Covered Candidates should have experience dealing across some or all of the following CFD asset classes: · Foreign Exchange (FX) · Equities · Commodities · Indices · Bonds · Interest Rates Requirements · Approximately 2+ years' experience for the Junior Dealer position or 5+ years' experience for the Senior Dealer position within a Dealer or Dealing Desk environment. · Proven experience managing live client flow and taking market risk. · Strong understanding of market making, pricing, hedging and exposure management. · Experience manually hedging positions and managing trading books. · Demonstrated ability to monitor positions, PCL, pricing and overall market exposure. · Comfortable making independent risk decisions in fast-moving markets. · Experience within CFD, leveraged FX or multi-asset brokerage environments is highly preferred. · Strong understanding of APAC market hours and trading dynamics. · Ability to work effectively in a collaborative dealing environment with global counterparts.
