About this role

Reporting To: Financial Controller A multi-asset family office is seeking a meticulous and discreet Financial Accountant to support its finance operations across a portfolio of holding companies, trusts and investment vehicles. This is a hands-on role covering multi-entity accounting, consolidation, investment reporting, treasury and management reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders and play an important role in maintaining accurate, timely and decision-useful financial information. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements across multiple entities. Support the preparation of consolidated reporting packages, including balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow statements, variance analysis and supporting schedules. Manage consolidation adjustments, intercompany balances and eliminations. Maintain accurate accounting records and reporting structures within Xero. Perform bank, credit card, investment and foreign exchange reconciliations. Manage journals, accruals, prepayments, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed asset schedules. Maintain investment records across listed securities, managed funds, private investments, real estate and cash instruments. Track investment cost bases, acquisitions, disposals, valuations, distributions, capital calls and commitments. Reconcile investment records against custodian and investment manager statements. Prepare asset allocation, portfolio performance and returns reporting. Monitor cash positions, liquidity requirements and investment funding obligations across entities and currencies. Prepare cash flow forecasts and maintain foreign exchange exposure and revaluation schedules. Track and report realised and unrealised foreign exchange gains and losses. Support budgeting, forecasting, audit preparation and corporate tax compliance. Assist with GST filings and coordinate statutory requirements with external advisers and corporate secretaries. Prepare management reporting covering net worth, liquidity, cash runway, asset allocation and foreign exchange exposure. Support reporting requirements relating to relevant Singapore family office and investment structures. Coordinate with banks, investment managers, custodians and professional advisers. Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality when handling financial, investment and personal information. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. CA, CPA or ACCA qualification, or currently progressing towards one, is preferred. Three to seven years of relevant accounting experience. Experience in multi-entity accounting, consolidation or management reporting. Exposure to investment accounting, portfolio reporting, private wealth, family office or fund management environments would be advantageous. Strong hands-on experience with Xero is essential. Advanced Excel skills, including consolidation and financial reporting models. Good understanding of foreign exchange accounting and revaluation. Familiarity with Singapore accounting, tax and regulatory requirements. Experience supporting a Section 13O or Section 13U structure, or a similar regulated investment platform, would be highly desirable. Personal Attributes Meticulous, organised and highly dependable. Strong attention to detail and reconciliation discipline. Able to translate financial and investment data into clear reporting. Discreet and comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders. Proactive, independent and able to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication and deadline-management skills.
