About this role
Key Responsibilities: • Live Production o Setup, configure, and operation of cameras, switchers, routers, LED walls, projection systems, and signal distribution o Manage multi-camera workflows for in-house and broadcast environments. o Ensure proper video signal flow, resolution management, frame sync, and display optimization. • Live Streaming & Broadcast o Set up, operate, video systems to support live streaming productions for services and events. o Configure and manage streaming platforms and encoders (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, Tik Tok, LiveU RTMP, SRT) o Monitor stream health, audio/video sync, latency, and network stability, ensuring a stable, high-quality livestream delivery (video quality, audio sync, bitrate optimization). o Operate or support video switching, audio broadcast mixing, and playback systems during live events and live streams o Troubleshoot real-time streaming issues and implement redundancy solutions. o Support multi-centre broadcast integration when services are shared between centres. o Monitor platform analytics and streaming performance metrics for continuous improvement · AV Systems & Integration o Support integrated AV systems including audio, video, lighting interfaces, LED walls, and projection o Manage signal flow across SDI, HDMI, Dante, NDI, and IP-based systems o Coordinate audio-for-broadcast workflows separately from FOH where required o Assist in system design reviews, upgrades, and commissioning · Operations & Maintenance o Perform pre-stream checks, rehearsals, and post-stream shutdowns o Troubleshoot technical issues under live conditions and implement long-term fixes o Maintain quipment, firmware updates, backups, and spares o Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and signal flow diagrams · People & Process o Work closely with worship, production, IT, and content teams o Promote best practices for delivering high quality, and excellent production standards o Fit and able to lift heavy equipment Job Requirements: · Educational Qualifications o Diploma or Degree in Audio Engineering, Broadcast, Media, AV Technology, or related field · Experience o 3–5 years of experience in live AV production or broadcast environments o Proven experience in live streaming and hybrid production workflows o Hands-on experience with Audio consoles (Digico, Yamaha, Allen & Heath, etc.), Video switchers (ATEM, Ross, etc.) Streaming software and hardware encoders (LiveU, YouTube, OBS, WireCast, ProPresenter etc.) · Skills/Qualifications o Experience with church, event, or multi-site live environments o Knowledge of Dante, NDI, SMPTE, PTP, and IP networking o Experience with LED wall processors and media servers o Basic IT and networking troubleshooting skills · Others o A strong desire to serve God in and through the work of the Church.
