Assistant Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing/ Machining/ Overseas Travel)

Working hrs: Mon - Fri, flexi hours Location: Tai Seng Salary: Up to $5k + AWS + VB Job Overview In charge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, supplier performance, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities Manage purchasing, logistics, inventory, and supply chain operations to ensure smooth daily operations. Work closely with internal teams to understand customer demand and maintain a stable supply of materials. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement to prevent stock shortages. Oversee warehouse operations and material flow. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, and performance reviews. Conduct supplier audits and monitor delivery and quality performance. Identify new sourcing opportunities, including overseas suppliers, and support cost-saving initiatives. Support purchasing activities for customer service and operations teams. Participate in monthly planning for production output and material requirements. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency. Requirements Diploma or higher qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. At least 3–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Good knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, inventory control, and logistics. Willing to travel overseas occasionally for supplier visits and audits. Able to support business needs during peak operational periods. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
