Safety Officer/Wsho (Ys81)

Responsibilities: Discharge duties as relevant in the WSH Act, WSH (Workplace Safety and Health (Officers) Regulations and Environmental Public Health Act. Implement and maintain proper procedures of WSH management, administrative and recording system. Plan, administer and implement safety policy and safety procedures in compliance with local safety regulations. Assist in the development and maintain ISO standards for the Company. Develop emergency procedures under Company’s Business Continuity Plan Manage and lead the Safety team & sub-contractors in the implementation of Company’s safety systems. Ensure project site safety compliance and continuous improvement by implementing and coordinating safety awareness training/programmers/initiatives. Ensure safe work practices are adhered to by all parties in the daily site activities. Conduct daily team/individual WSH inspections and produce relevant reports and follow-ups Organize/conduct WSH briefing/training to site team Lead and assist in investigating any near miss, incident or accident, dangerous occurrence and recommend appropriate control measures to prevent recurrence. Requirements: Degree / Diploma / Specialist diploma in Workplace Safety & Health. Registered WSH Officer with MOM and Environmental Control Officer with NEA.
