Job Summary As a Full-Time Tutor at TutorJohn Learning Centre, you will deliver engaging lessons, monitor student progress, and contribute to curriculum development to support student success in Primary and Secondary education. Responsibilities Conduct engaging tuition classes for Primary and Secondary students to enhance learning outcomes Prepare and deliver lessons using TutorJohn's in-house curriculum and teaching materials to ensure consistent quality Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback to guide student improvement Monitor students’ academic progress and identify areas requiring additional support Maintain clear and timely communication with parents regarding student performance when required Assist in lesson planning, curriculum enhancement, and development of teaching resources to improve instructional effectiveness Support school holiday programmes, revision workshops, and enrichment classes to extend learning opportunities Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and centre events to foster collaboration and professional growth Maintain a positive, organised, and professional classroom environment conducive to learning Required competencies and certifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline Strong academic background in the subjects taught Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible, patient, and able to work well in a team Preferred competencies and qualifications Prior teaching or tutoring experience Passionate about teaching and mentoring students Other Information Location Choa Chu Kang / Tampines, Singapore Working Hours 5-Day Work Week Weekdays: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM Weekends (where applicable): Morning/Afternoon classes One weekday and one weekend day off (subject to operational needs) Salary & Benefits Monthly Salary: S$3,300 – S$3,500 (depending on qualifications and experience) Performance Bonus Annual Wage Supplement (AWS / 13th Month Bonus) upon completion of 12 months Annual Leave starting from 10 days (increases with years of service) Medical benefits Professional development and training Career progression opportunities Supportive and collaborative working environment Probation 3-month probation period Notice Period 2 months after confirmation
