Claim to main-contractors or clients and update record accordingly Certify claims to sub-contractors and update record accordingly Monitor and control project cost against budget Analyses project costs Manage client and supplier / sub-contractor data base Brief pricing strategy and method to the board for the to be tendered projects Involve into contract reviewing for the newly awarded projects and contract drafting with sub-contractors / suppliers Prepared bill of quantities which involves quantity take-off, material sourcing, measuring and estimating materials and labour costing Prepare all relevant administration and documentation for Tender submission such as breakdown of cost, technical data, Schedule of unit rate & Maintenance Cost Attended onsite and consultants’ meetings and liaise with clients and contractors. Discuss with site team for the necessary site information and conditions for the data of progress claim and variation order Measure and evaluate the variation of quality, quantity and job scope change. Be in charge of project closing analysis and relevant works for the completed proejcts Assists to create / upgrade the QS system, including various standard operating Procedures (“SOP”) and templates Ad-hoc works relevant to the role of QS Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent. At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
