Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager – Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Operations Location: Bendemeer Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) inspection operations. The role is responsible for overseeing project delivery, managing supervisors, coordinators, and inspectors, ensuring contractual compliance, maintaining operational excellence, and serving as the primary liaison with the Authority. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the overall WSH inspection project, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and service delivery. Oversee and support Supervisors, Coordinators, and Inspectors to achieve operational and contractual requirements. Plan inspection schedules and ensure timely completion of inspection activities. Ensure all inspection reports, enforcement actions, and documentation are accurate, complete, and submitted within required timelines. Monitor and track non-compliance cases, ensuring all follow-up actions are completed. Manage public enquiries and complaints, ensuring timely escalation and resolution with the Authority. Review operational performance and implement continuous process improvements. Develop annual training plans and oversee competency development programmes for Service Personnel. Conduct regular performance reviews, audits, and operational inspections, ensuring corrective actions are implemented. Plan and coordinate performance audits with the Authority and submit follow-up action reports. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, SOPs, WSH legislation, and Authority guidelines. Manage manpower planning, deployment, replacement, and continuity of service. Oversee contract administration, including invoicing, payment matters, documentation, and reporting. Attend meetings with the Authority, present operational updates, and ensure meeting minutes and action items are completed. Manage project records, manpower statistics, inspection reports, and other information requested by the Authority. Education & Experience Degree in Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution. Minimum 5 years of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) inspection and operations experience , with at least 2 years in a supervisory or project management role . Strong experience managing inspection teams, operations, audits, and service delivery. Experience in contract management, stakeholder engagement, and government/public sector projects will be an advantage. Skills Strong leadership, stakeholder, and people management skills. Excellent project planning, coordination, and organizational abilities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and report preparation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
