Student Management Officer (Jurong)

Key Responsibilities Incident Management Disciplinary cases and prepare incident reports. Supervise in-school suspension and detention, ensuring students complete assigned work and reflection activities. Analyse behaviour trends and update the HOD (Student Management). Communicate with parents on incidents, consequences, and follow-up support. 2. Canteen Patrol & Morning Assembly Transition: Patrol the canteen before school and direct students to assembly. Monitor and record late-comers. 3. Campus Safety Conduct patrols within the school and surrounding areas to ensure student safety and positive behaviour. Monitor attendance and late-coming trends, refer chronic cases, and support home visits for Long-Term Absenteeism (LTA). 4. Student Engagement Oversee the Student Activity Centre during breaks and after school. Organise simple activities and mentor at-risk students to support their behavioural and personal development. Experience & Qualifications: • Prior experience in youth work, education, counseling, social services, or student welfare/behavioral support is highly preferred. • Background in security or uniformed services (e.g., SPF/SAF/SCDF) is highly preferred. Core Skills & Attributes: • De-escalation and firmness: Outstanding conflict-resolution skills. Ability to maintain a firm presence and strong classroom management during suspension/detention hours. • Physical fitness: Physically fit and able to walk/stand for extended periods during daily internal and external patrols.
