We’re looking to add a Engineer, Quality in Singapore . The position will be based in our Jurong Site . JOB SUMMARY Responsible for quality level of product build by company. Work closely with Operational group to ensure good quality of product. Work with customer(s) on quality feedback and complaints. Drive operational groups in improvement processes. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with engineering and customer QA to ensure that products manufactured conform to customer specifications and requirements. Ensures that in-process audits are carried out. Identify and evaluate product quality problems and work with manufacturing/process/test engineers. Production supervisors and SQE to develop effective corrective actions. Ensure proper maintenance of quality records in QA. Liaise with customers on all quality related issues. Hold internal quality meetings and drives quality improvement plans Train QA inspectors on data collection, chart plotting and action feedback. Prepare standard operating procedures, including inspections and checklists. Ensure measuring instruments and test equipment are calibrated. Take necessary actions to rectify any calibration related issues. Ensure ESD is in place where needed. Analyze, propose and implement corrective action plans to resolve quality issues (both internal and external). Review and consolidate first article inspection reports before submitting to customer. Support QMS/EMS on maintenance of management systems. Assist in Learning Module System (LMS) administration. Support IQC operation in Jurong whenever necessary. Actively participate in LEAN activities. Stop production processes if found not conforming to Venture Standard Operating Procedures (VSOP) or customer specifications. Verify implemented solutions. Certify operators/inspectors. Issue corrective action requests on quality related issues and follow up on actions and closures. Withhold finished goods from shipment if they do not conform to required specifications. Approve engineering change notices. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering preferred. 2 years’ experience in EMS environment. Knowledge of SAP a plus. Sound knowledge in SPC, Problem solving tools, FMEA, poka-yoke, LEAN programs Good communication skills, team player with positive working attitude. Able to work independently with minimum supervision Willing to be stationed in Jurong Port Road facility.
