The Field Services provides direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate troubleshooting action or short-term planning and plan for long term preventive action. Reporting to the Field Service Leader (Singapore), specific responsibilities for the position include but not limited to: Responsibilities/Job Descriptions: • Provide SERVICE EXCELLENCE, general technical direction and assistance to the customer in the operation, maintenance, repair, logistic support, stock inventory, and installation of Veolia products • Provide on-site interpretation of data and technical instruction • Provide Technical Sales and Account/Sales Manager with complete and prompt information regarding status of programs, customer problems, failures, trends, and climate • Provide technical assistance through on-site guidance and training in proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assigned programs and ground support equipment, including the use and proper interpretation of data and technical instructions • Provide communication to Product Support and Field Service regarding all program activities and problems through regular, timely reports • Assist customer in scheduling maintenance and workload • Assure that equipment and parts meet established schedules • Review reported malfunctions and identify / analyze any undesirable trends • Make recommendations on findings • Review effectiveness of maintenance actions in order to identify training needs • Anticipate requirements beyond those that immediately affect the program and assist in implementing actions to satisfy those requirements • Manage, Operate and Maintain water treatment plant contracts • Maintain availability on a 24-hour per day/365 day per year call basis to ensure coverage for EHS and production emergencies • Initiate & implement required modification and retrofit projects (Value-Added Projects) Requirements: • Electrical/Instrument or equivalent degree in engineering from an accredited university or college with at least 2 years of experience in a field service or maintenance position for water & process treatment field). • Ability and willingness to travel within territory. • Must be proficient with Microsoft applications • Diploma Holders in Electrical/Instrument background with > 5 years’ experience in the relevant may apply.
