Mechanical Technician

Job Summary You will assemble semiconductor machine parts, install firmware, troubleshoot during machine setup, and maintain a safe, clean work environment to support efficient factory automation processes. Responsibilities Assemble main and sub-assemblies of semiconductor machines, including mechanical parts and wire routing, to ensure proper machine construction Power up machines and install firmware to prepare equipment for operation Troubleshoot machines during setup to identify and resolve technical issues promptly Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following established procedures, rules, and regulations Work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks efficiently Required competencies and certifications Possess a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), or Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent Proficient in English language for effective communication Preferred competencies and qualifications Experience in Automation Systems to enhance machine assembly and troubleshooting capabilities
