About the Role Waterland Services Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager (M&E) to lead mechanical and electrical projects from pre-construction planning through project completion. The successful candidate will oversee project planning, tender support, engineering coordination, project execution, and successful delivery while ensuring quality, safety, cost control, and compliance with Singapore regulations. Key Responsibilities Pre-Construction / Tender Support Review tender drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Identify design discrepancies, technical issues, and potential risks, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and the tender team to resolve them. Review quantity take-offs and material requirements for accuracy and completeness. Provide technical input and value engineering proposals to support cost-effective project execution. Assist the Project Director during tender evaluation, project planning, and engineering coordination. Project Management Manage M&E projects from commencement through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams. Develop project schedules and allocate manpower, materials, and resources effectively. Monitor project progress, productivity, quality, and contractual compliance. Manage project budgets, cost control, procurement, and material delivery schedules. Review subcontractor progress claims, variations, and project documentation. Attend project meetings and prepare project progress reports. Resolve technical, contractual, and operational issues throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with project specifications, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, statutory regulations, and company policies. Lead and supervise engineers, site supervisors, and project staff to achieve project objectives. Project Close-Out Monitor project completion and oversee defect rectification works. Ensure the timely collection and submission of as-built drawings, operation manuals, warranties, testing and commissioning reports, and other project close-out documentation. Manage final account negotiations and project handover to clients. Support the maintenance team during the Defects Liability Period (DLP), where required. Requirements Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E project management Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Familiar with Singapore construction practices, local authority requirements, and relevant codes of practice. Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience in both residential and commercial M&E projects. Knowledge of M&E filtration systems is an added advantage.
