Associate (3-4 Pqe)

We are currently recruiting for a project finance associate to join our Projects & Corporate Group in Singapore. Candidates must have solid experience in project finance specifically within the energy sector. To secure an interview for this role, you will be able to exhibit to us your abilities to: Drafting key project documents – for example: power purchase agreement, electricity supply agreement, hydrogen purchase agreement, security documents, facilities agreements and escrow agreements; Drafting board resolutions and shareholder resolutions, as well as legal opinions and legal advice; Managing the CP process; drafting the board resolutions; drafting the security agreements; Finalising documentation for execution, preparing signing instructions and managing execution processes; Liaising with local counsel to manage the legal opinions; Managing the KYC and conflicts processes; and Preparation of draft fee letters or related client documentation. Candidates will also require the following key credentials and attributes: Singapore, England & Wales or other common law jurisdiction qualified with strong academic credentials Proven cross-border transactional experience, including project finance, banking and finance, and emerging markets transactions Confidence to deliver work effectively and efficiently The ability to work autonomously and effectively handle multiple and competing priorities Excellent legal drafting skills with a focus on attention to detail Well-developed research and analytical skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Able to maintain tact and diplomacy, exhibit sound judgement, build trust and maintain confidentiality Want to fit into the Firm’s culture of being collaborative, enterprising, inquisitive and hard-working Only those candidates deemed to have the right experience, skills and attributes will be contacted.
