Financial Controller - Wcan

Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end finance operations, including financial planning, analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. Collaborate with internal teams to determine funding requirements and manage cash flow in line with organizational agreements. Maintain rolling forecasts to support financial planning and resource allocation. Review and analyze budget performance (actual vs. budget) to identify potential variances. Source and manage competitive providers for bonds, insurance, and other financial instruments as needed. Prepare accurate forecasts and variance analysis to support decision-making. Build and maintain relationships with banks, insurance providers, corporate service providers, and regulatory bodies. Communicate proactively with stakeholders to provide financial insights that support business operations and strategy. Supervise and mentor finance team members to ensure continuous development. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure financial alignment across departments. Prepare regular management reports and support reporting requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related professional qualification. Meticulous with strong attention to detail. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
