We're Hiring: Logistics Manager (Freight Forwarding) Location: Singapore Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced and proactive Logistics Manager to lead our freight forwarding operations around the world. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of international freight movements, import and export procedures, customs regulations, and supply chain operations. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day logistics activities, driving operational excellence, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily sea and land freight forwarding operations. Ensure efficient coordination of import, export, transshipment, and cross-border shipments. Manage relationships with shipping lines, airlines, freight agents, transport providers, customs brokers, and overseas partners. Monitor shipment status and resolve operational issues to ensure timely delivery. Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade compliance requirements, and international shipping standards. Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with carriers and logistics partners. Optimize transportation routes and operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee warehouse and transportation activities where applicable. Monitor operational KPIs, profitability, and service performance. Prepare reports on operational performance, productivity, and cost management. Collaborate closely with the Sales and Customer Service teams to provide logistics solutions and maintain high customer satisfaction. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of freight forwarding experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role . Strong knowledge of: Land freight and sea freight operations Import and export documentation Customs regulations and trade compliance of Asian-Pacific region countries Incoterms® Letter of Credit (LC) shipment procedures (advantageous) Dangerous Goods (DG) handling (advantageous) Experience using freight forwarding, transport management, or ERP systems. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate freight rates and manage operational costs. Excellent leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
