Safety Coordinator (Wshc)

Job Responsibilities Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and unsafe work practices. Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies. Assist in implementing and maintaining the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Management System. Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings. Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP) and other safety documentation. Monitor workers' compliance with safety requirements and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain safety records, inspection reports and statutory documentation. Investigate incidents, accidents and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and relevant authorities on safety matters. Follow up on safety observations and ensure timely rectification of non-conformances. Support internal and external safety audits. Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or EHS Manager.
