Safety Coordinator

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and committed Safety Coordinator to support marine and land project operations by maintaining a safeworking environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and project safety standards, and enabling smooth site operations. Responsibilities Maintain all project Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in strict alignment with internal safety protocols and project requirements to ensure regulatory compliance. Collaborate with the Safety Officer to implement and monitor safety protocols that mitigate risks and enhance site safety. Promote and enforce a proactive safety culture by driving rigorous safe-work practices across project sites. Conduct systematic site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and non-compliance issues, and initiate corrective actions. Coordinate and lead toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) inductions to educate and engage site personnel. Assist in preparing detailed risk assessments, safe work procedures (SWP), and method statements to support safe project execution. Required competencies and certifications Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), Singapore. Preferred competencies and qualifications Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in marine and land project operations. Strong knowledge of WSH regulations, particularly related to marine and port projects. Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and implementing safe work procedures. Effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills demonstrated in safety management contexts. Basic proficiency in MS Office applications for report preparation and documentation.
