Laundry Operator - 2 Year Contract

Job Purpose Operator in Laundry operation to process soiled linen and prepare cleaned linen for delivery according to customers’ specification and requirement. Major Duties and Responsibilities · Operate laundry’s machinery and equipment according to the operating manual. · Sort soiled linen according to specification before washing process. · Conduct quality control on cleaned linen before delivery according to quality standards. · Packing linen for hospitals’ Operating Theatre and CSSD department according to hospitals’ specification. · Remove any unacceptable linen (stained/torn/poor finishing) and foreign object detected during process. · Loading washed linen and unloading of soiled linen from laundry vehicles daily. · Wash and sanitizing of linen trolleys daily where applicable. · Check, count and prepare delivery order for cleaned linen before delivery. · Perform job rotation as required · Able to perform shift work and working on weekend and Public Holidays. · Able to perform duty at customers’ site on soiled linen collection and distribute cleaned linen when required. · Follow WSH practices and regulations. Identify and recognize workplace risks and hazards if any. · Surrender any cash/valuable items found during process and hand over to supervisor on duty Any Other Duties Any other tasks or duties assigned Comprehensive benefits Annual Wage Supplement & Bonuses
