Job Description – QA/QC Engineer (Quality Assurance & Quality Control Engineer) Job Summary The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction and engineering works meet specified quality standards, project requirements, and regulatory compliance. This role plays a critical part in maintaining workmanship quality, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) plans and procedures Conduct site inspections to ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements Prepare and submit Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), checklists, and quality documentation Coordinate with consultants, project team, and subcontractors on quality-related matters Monitor and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards Identify defects or non-conformances (NCR) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions Ensure materials delivered to site meet required standards and approvals Liaise with consultants for inspections and obtain necessary approvals Maintain proper documentation for audits, handover, and project completion Support internal and external quality audits Requirements Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering projects Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation Familiar with drawings, specifications, and site coordination Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication and coordination abilities Working Hours 5.5 days work week Overtime may be required based on project needs
