About this role
Job: • Driving integration and data migration tracks, providing technical oversight, governance, and quality assurance over external vendor deliverables and legacy systems (including SAP). • Act as a client-side custodian to ensure data pipelines and interface designs are executed comprehensively. • This role requires high agility and good communication skills; you will serve as a cross-functional technical bridge, translating complex ideas between business users and vendors, and pivoting dynamically to support other project tracks during peak periods. Role: • Evaluate technical vendor deliverables, including source-to-target data mapping documents, interface specifications, and migration blueprints. • Review proposed data cleansing rules, ETL logic, pipeline architectures, and API designs to ensure they meet internal standards before recommending leadership approval. • Actively monitor milestones across data cleansing, migration, and integration tracks, identifying technical risks or delivery bottlenecks early. • Act as the primary translator between business users and technical vendors, ensuring technical solutions accurately resolve business problems. • Pivot flexibly to assist adjacent project streams during critical project phases. • Partner with security and governance teams to ensure all interface designs (APIs, file transfers) and migration pipelines adhere to regulatory standards. • Collaborate with downstream data analytics teams to ensure migrated historical data and real-time interface structures support BI tools and data warehousing. Requirements: • At least 5 years of professional experience in IT, specifically within data migration, system integration, or large-scale IT transformation projects. • Proven experience working on legacy systems; familiarity with SAP environments is advantageous. • Demonstrated experience working alongside external vendors and system integrators. • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical business users. • Comfortable facilitating workshops, gathering requirements from business units, and managing vendor accountability. • A proactive mindset with the willingness and capability to learn and support adjacent project tracks during peak deployment times. • This role will need to secure a clearance, due to the sensitivity of the project.
