Analyst Programmer (Java 21 Or Above)

Role: • Gather and analyse user requirements and translate them into application specifications. • Analyse, design, test, implement, and maintain application systems or web-based applications. Requirements: • At least 5 years of experience in systems analysis, design (include database design), development, implementation, and quality assurance. • Able to work independently in gathering requirements from users, translating them into application specifications. • Good communication, project management, strong analytical, problem-solving skills. • Technical Skills : Java Enterprise Application Development: o Hibernate o Java Persistence API (JPA) Framework o Spring Framework (Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Spring Web). Integrated Development Environments (IDEs): o Eclipse Application Server: o JBoss Application Server (now WildFly) Architectural Concepts and Tools: o Messaging system (e.g. IBM MQ) o Rules Engines o Service Oriented Architecture Programming Language: o Java Web Development and Maintenance: o Web Services Development Tools: o Web Integrated Development Environment (IDE) Web Service Architectural Styles: o Representational State Transfer (REST) o Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) Environments/Systems: o MS SQL o Open System Environment o Unix o Windows Operating Systems: o Unix o Windows Server Platforms: o Amazon Web Services (AWS) o Azure o J2EE Platforms - Apache HTTP Server Databases: o MS SQL o Oracle Frameworks: o Model-View-Controller (MVC) o Service Component Architecture (SCA) Programming Languages & Other Languages: o Extensible Markup Language (XML) o HTML o Java o JavaScript o Python o PowerShell o SQL Technologies: o Java technologies o MS SQL Additional skillset: • Working experience in Object Oriented Analysis and Design. • Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition or Spring or equivalent. • Proficiency in Development of Web-based applications using UI framework such as Angular/AngularJS, jQuery, Struts or equivalent. • Proficiency in Development of application using Persistence framework such as Hibernate, JPA or equivalent. • Proficiency in Relational Databases like DB2, SQL Server, Oracle. • Proficiency in Using tools for testing. • Working experience in using Webserver like Apache Webserver, Microsoft IIS or equivalent. • Experience in Java 21 and above, preferred.
