M&E Quantity Surveyor

Established A1 Main Contractor Stable Pipeline of Large-Scale Building & Infrastructure Projects 5-Day Work Week Attractive Salary + Variable Bonus Our client is an established A1 Main Contractor with a strong track record in delivering large-scale building, civil, and infrastructure projects across Singapore. Due to continued project growth, they are looking for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team. Responsibilities Manage the full spectrum of Mechanical or Electrical Quantity Surveying duties from tender stage through to final account. Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and tender documentation. Evaluate quotations, source and recommend subcontractors and suppliers for Electrical works. Administer contracts and subcontracts, including progress claims, payment certification, variation orders, and final accounts. Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier claims while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. Work closely with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure effective commercial and cost management throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Services, or a related discipline. Minimum 2–5 years of relevant M&E Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry. Hands-on experience managing pre-contract and post-contract activities for Electrical works. Experience in large-scale building, industrial, infrastructure, or civil construction projects will be an advantage. Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, variation claims, and subcontract management.
