About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity to join a leading technology consulting organisation supporting large-scale enterprise and government infrastructure projects. As a Cloud Support Engineer , you will play a key role in maintaining mission-critical infrastructure across Windows, Linux and virtualisation platforms. This role offers exposure to enterprise technologies, secure environments and large-scale infrastructure operations. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure and enterprise platforms Support Linux servers (Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux) Perform server maintenance, operating system patching and health checks Monitor infrastructure performance and resolve production incidents Support enterprise virtualisation platforms including Nutanix, VMware and Citrix Implement approved changes while following established change management processes Assist with vulnerability remediation and security compliance activities Support backup and recovery operations using enterprise backup solutions Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders on deployments, upgrades and infrastructure projects Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational records Requirements We are looking for candidates with experience in several of the following areas: Infrastructure Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policy Linux Ubuntu Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Virtualisation Nutanix AHV VMware vSphere / ESXi Citrix Virtual Desktop Enterprise Tools (Advantageous) Splunk SolarWinds Veeam Backup Tenable BeyondTrust Ansible Automation Platform Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline At least 2 years of experience in infrastructure support, systems administration or cloud support Experience supporting enterprise Windows and/or Linux environments Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Good communication and stakeholder management skills Experience supporting enterprise or regulated environments will be advantageous Security Requirement This position supports a security-sensitive project.
