As a Cafe Chef, you’ll be part of a kitchen that values care over chaos, consistency over shortcuts, and craft over speed for its own sake. You’ll help bring our menu to life — executing dishes with attention to detail, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to a calm and reliable kitchen rhythm. Key Responsibilities Prepare food according to established SOPs to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation Maintain proper food storage and handling in line with food safety standards Monitor food wastage and portion control to support cost and sustainability goals Uphold hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards across all kitchen operations Handle kitchen equipment with care to minimise breakdowns and extend usability Contribute ideas to improve kitchen workflow, efficiency, and food quality Support the Front of house team. (A dual role of Kitchen + FOH) Requirements training will be provided Ability to work calmly and cooperatively in a team environment Positive, responsible, and professional attitude Willingness to work 5 days per week, including weekends and public holidays Why Join Us We’re not a high-noise, high-stress kitchen.
