•Develop strategic plans for sales through existing and/or new business to ensure achievement of revenue and market share targets. • Develop and implement new sales propositions, initiatives and partnerships to increase product awareness and drive tangible business growth. • Identify and implement opportunities for business growth with both existing and new business accounts and partnerships within region to ensure Air New Zealand market share is maintained and enhanced. • In conjunction with Commercial team, develop relevant and effective remuneration and incentive schemes using volume, revenue or market share targets. • Forge close relationships with key decision makers within all Air New Zealand key accounts and leverage personal influence. • Undertake weekly performance analysis and reporting on indirect sales channel across region, utilise insights to optimise performance, and communicate as required with internal and external stakeholders. • Monitor and evaluate statistical, competitor and market data to identify trends and sales opportunities and recommend and develop relevant initiatives to capitalise on those opportunities. • Manage distribution channels to ensure reduction in cost of sale and increased regional profitability. • Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with partners and drive ongoing performance from each account to ensure business and revenue growth and effective cost management. • Develop and maintain relationships with key external groups within region and New Zealand to facilitate achievement of mutually beneficial business goals and ensure achievement of revenue and market share targets. • Partner with the regional marketing team to develop and implement new marketing initiatives through trade partnerships that deliver incremental sales growth. • Develop and maintain relationships within team and other internal teams to ensure consistency, efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales team. • Manage and maintain budgets for relevant partnerships to ensure costs are appropriately planned for and expenditure is managed within authorised limits. • Promote Air New Zealand’s positive profile through relationship development by supporting key partnerships and the wider travel trade community through the identification, development and delivery of product knowledge, training and hospitality where appropriate. • Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to other Sales team members and GSA partners, reinforcing high standards with regard to performance, customer service and adherence to company values • Support on Sales requirements beyond SEA region when required, for example in India. https://careers.airnewzealand.co.nz/job/business-development-manager-singapore-in-singapore-sg-jid-854
