Failure Analysis Technician (Bedok/Electronics Mfg Co.)

This role involves investigating product failures, conducting root cause analysis, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability. Responsibilities: Conducted physical, electrical, and chemical testing to determine failure modes and identify root causes. Prepared detailed technical reports, including test results, data analysis, and photographic documentation. Collaborated with engineers by providing analysis findings to support investigations and report preparation. Maintained laboratory equipment and ensured calibration standards and testing accuracy were consistently met. Requirements: Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field Prefer 2 years of experience in failure analysis, quality control, or laboratory testing environment Proficiency with analytical tools such as optical microscopes, X-ray systems, and electrical test equipment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to present technical findings to cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
