Good career opportunity Competitive remuneration package Accessible working environment As a Bioinformatician, you will be responsible for the following duties: Lead the design, development, validation, and maintenance of bioinformatics pipelines supporting clinical genomics and precision medicine initiatives. Perform comprehensive genomic and multi-omics data analyses, including NGS, WES/WGS, ctDNA, pharmacogenomics (PGx), minimal residual disease (MRD), and polygenic risk score (PRS) assessments, with interpretation for clinical reporting. Develop, optimise, and maintained scalable, reproducible workflows, tools, and databases to support high-throughput genomic operations. Built and enhance bioinformatics pipelines using Python, R, Bash, Linux, and workflow management systems such as Nextflow and Snakemake, including custom tool development. Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to deliver accurate, clinically actionable insights and reports. Integrate clinical, internal, and publicly available datasets to support variant classification and evidence-based decision-making. Deploye and managed bioinformatics workflows across on-premises, cloud, and high-performance computing (HPC) environments, ensuring performance, security, and compliance. Evaluate and implemented emerging technologies, including AI/ML applications, long-read sequencing platforms, and advanced analytical methodologies, while supporting validation activities. Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and data governance requirements through robust documentation, audit readiness, and adherence to established standards. Provide technical leadership and mentorship, while contributing to research, innovation initiatives, grant applications, and scientific publications. Requirements: PhD (or equivalent experience) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field.
