Opportunities for professional development Reputable organisation Competitive Remuneration Package As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties: Conduct security awareness programs, phishing simulations, and training to strengthen cybersecurity practices. Perform IT security risk assessments and drive remediation of identified vulnerabilities. Manage vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits, ensuring timely closure of findings. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and governance frameworks. Monitor security systems, detect threats, and respond to security incidents. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation activities. Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and implement preventive measures. Provide security advisory support to infrastructure, application, and business teams. Support compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements through proper documentation and risk management. Coordinate internal, external, and regulatory security audits, and drive remediation of audit findings. Requirements Recognized degree in CyberSecurity, Computer Science, IT or related field with good knowledge on security frameworks (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity framework) and risk management methodologies.
