About this role
Responsibilities Lead and optimize manufacturing and repair processes for aerospace engine/component overhaul operations. Serve as the technical authority for assigned production areas, ensuring manufacturing methods consistently meet quality, safety, cost, and delivery objectives. Investigate and resolve complex manufacturing and process-related issues involving machining, welding, coating, balancing, inspection, and component repair. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and other operational excellence methodologies. Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process validation, production readiness, and implementation of new manufacturing capabilities. Maintain and improve manufacturing documentation, technical work instructions, tooling, and process standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and external suppliers to improve operational performance. Support quality investigations, process capability studies, FAIR, MSA, and compliance with aerospace industry standards. Requirements Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aeronautical, or Industrial Engineering. Experience in aerospace manufacturing, aircraft engine MRO, precision machining, or component repair engineering. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, coating, inspection, or precision repair. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with aerospace quality systems such as NADCAP, FAIR, MSA, or equivalent manufacturing quality standards is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
