Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing Position Title: Assistant Electrical Engineer Working Location: Cleantech Loop (Jurong West) Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday 9AM – 6PM) Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,000 + Variable Bonus Duration: Permanent Key Responsibilities Design and develop hardware for battery protection circuits, including choosing and controlling contactors and relays. Create and develop battery sensor circuits, focusing on circuit design, component selection, and testing/calibrating sensors for voltage, current, and temperature. Develop software for battery protection schemes in the Battery Management System (BMS), covering protections for over/under voltage, current, and temperature. Evaluate the battery's State-of-Charge (SoC) and develop the related firmware in the BMS. Research, compare, and select the appropriate microcontroller unit (MCU) to implement the BMS firmware. APPLY NOW!!! Higher Nitec/Diploma in Electrical or Power Engineering, or equivalent. Experience in designing and testing BMS protection circuits. Firmware development skills for MCU in battery protection. Skills in designing and testing measurement circuits in BMS. Experience with sourcing and procuring electrical components.
