Solution Architect – Salesforce 12 Months Contract - Potential to extend Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support in designing and delivering secure, scalable digital solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and agencies to architect enterprise-grade Salesforce and integrated digital platforms across systems. This role requires strong hands-on Salesforce architecture expertise combined with the ability to lead technical design, guide development teams, and provide structured solution governance across complex digital transformation programmes. Key Responsibilities Define end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce and integrated enterprise platforms Lead technical design discussions and translate business requirements into scalable architecture solutions Design secure integrations with external systems and platforms using APIs and middleware Provide architecture guidance across Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, OmniStudio, integrations, and platform scalability Drive best practices across security, governance, performance optimization, and reusable architecture patterns Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and developers to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery Review technical designs, code quality, and implementation approaches across delivery teams Support solution documentation, architecture governance, troubleshooting, and platform modernization initiatives Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of Salesforce experience with strong Solution Architecture exposure Deep expertise across Salesforce Service Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, integrations, and platform design Strong experience with API integrations, enterprise architecture patterns, and large-scale CRM implementations Ability to independently drive solutioning discussions and prioritize functional and technical requirements Strong stakeholder communication and structured problem-solving capability Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Platform Developer preferred What we are Likely Looking For Based on the feedback shared, the client is prioritizing: Strong hands-on technical depth, not just high-level architecture knowledge Candidates who can still code/debug confidently when required Structured thinking and the ability to break down requirements independently Clear and concise communication with logical solution articulation Strong understanding of Salesforce fundamentals, execution flow, sharing/security model, and scalable design principles Architects who can lead delivery teams while remaining technically credible and detail-oriented
