AI Architect

AI Architect – Good to have Insurance domain Background Contract Duration: 6-12 Months | Potential to Extend Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced AI Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise AI and GenAI solutions within a large-scale insurance transformation programme. This role will serve as the technical and strategic lynchpin between business stakeholders, product teams, data teams, and engineering functions. The successful candidate will define the AI architecture roadmap, drive AI solution governance, and ensure scalable, secure, and compliant implementation across multiple insurance business domains. Key Responsibilities Define enterprise AI and GenAI architecture strategy aligned to business transformation objectives Design scalable AI solution frameworks, integration models, and deployment patterns Lead architecture discussions across underwriting, claims, customer servicing, distribution, operations, and risk functions Evaluate and recommend AI/LLM platforms, tooling, orchestration frameworks, and cloud technologies Work closely with Product Owners and delivery squads to translate business requirements into AI-enabled solutions Ensure alignment with enterprise security, governance, compliance, and responsible AI standards Drive AI operating model design and implementation across regional markets Provide technical leadership and oversight across AI proof-of-concepts, pilots, and production deployments Engage senior business and technology stakeholders across multiple markets Required Experience 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology architecture or digital transformation Strong experience within the insurance sector Proven hands-on delivery experience with AI / GenAI initiatives Experience with LLM ecosystems, AI orchestration, automation, or intelligent workflow platforms Experience designing cloud-native and enterprise-scale architectures Strong stakeholder management and consulting capability Experience operating within regional or multi-market transformation programmes Preferred Skills Exposure to platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Databricks, LangChain, or similar Knowledge of responsible AI, AI governance, and regulatory considerations Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and product operating models Ideal Candidate Profile Strategic yet hands-on Able to operate across business and technical teams Comfortable working within ambiguity and transformation environments Strong communication and leadership capability
