M&E Manager (Commercial Interior Fit-Out)

About the Company Our client is an established workplace design and build consultancy with a strong portfolio of commercial office and workplace projects across Singapore and the region. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of M&E works for commercial interior fit-out projects. This role is suited for an experienced M&E professional with strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, and the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and coordination of M&E designs for commercial workplace projects. Review tender documents, technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements. Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and value engineering solutions. Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Interior Designers, Consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective project solutions. Ensure all M&E designs and tender submissions comply with statutory requirements, industry standards, and client specifications. Manage procurement, project variations, and contract administration for awarded projects. Review and certify contractor and supplier claims. Provide technical support throughout project execution to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery. Requirements Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline. Having 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in M&E works, preferably within commercial office fit-out or interior construction projects. Strong understanding of ACMV, Electrical, Fire Protection, and ELV systems. Experience in tender management, cost estimation, procurement, and value engineering. Good knowledge of Singapore statutory requirements and industry regulations. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
