Workplace Safety & Health Officer (Wsho) (Main Contractor / Building & Construction Projects)

About the Opportunity Our client is an established Main Contractor with an expanding portfolio of building and construction projects across Singapore. They are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to oversee site safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong safety culture across active project sites. Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies and procedures across construction sites. Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and hazard identification to ensure compliance with MOM and WSH regulations. Prepare and maintain WSH documentation, including Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) records. Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and site safety inductions. Investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive measures. Work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and relevant authorities on all safety-related matters. Promote safe work practices and foster a positive safety culture on site. Requirements Minimum 3 years of construction site safety experience in Singapore. Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) recognized by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). Good knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation and construction safety requirements. Possess a valid Work-at-Height Course for Supervisors certification.
