Qaqc Engineer (5 Days + Alternate Half Saturday) Main Contractor

Our client is a reputable building and construction company seeking a QAQC Engineer to ensure all construction works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS). Conduct inspections and ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Prepare and manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality documentation. Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and relevant authorities. Monitor site activities and identify quality issues, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions. Review material submissions, method statements, and shop drawings for quality compliance. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and quality records. Support project handover, testing, commissioning, and defect rectification. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, company quality procedures, and applicable statutory requirements. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Experience as a QAQC Engineer in building construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, quality standards, and QAQC procedures. Familiarity with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, material inspections, and quality documentation. Experience handling inspections, quality audits, and non-conformance management. Good understanding of BCA requirements, ISO 9001, and relevant Singapore construction standards. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced site environment. Preferred Experience Experience with large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
