Technical Designer & Cad Draughtsperson

Technical Drawing & Space Planning Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings for wardrobe systems, kitchen layouts, and loose furniture arrangements, working from client-supplied floor plans, architect drawings, and site survey data. Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and installation drawings to the standard required for factory order submission, contractor coordination, and client presentation. Interpret and redraw architect and interior designer drawings where necessary to align with product systems, identifying and resolving spatial conflicts or technical constraints before order placement. Maintain organised drawing registers and revision histories for all active projects, ensuring the sales team and project managers always work from the current approved drawing set. 3D Visualisation & Client Presentations Create compelling 3D renders and visualisations of proposed installations, enabling clients and project stakeholders to understand the aesthetic outcome before committing to order. Apply accurate finish, material, and colour selections to 3D models, reflecting the client's specified configuration and demonstrating the quality and character of the product range. Produce presentation-quality drawing packages for use by sales consultants in client meetings, combining plans, elevations, and visualisations into a coherent and visually refined document consistent with brand standards. Contract Projects Support Support contract project teams on large-scale residential and hospitality developments, preparing unit-by-unit drawing packages and coordinating drawing revisions in response to design development or client change requests. Liaise with architects, interior designers, and main contractors to exchange drawing information, respond to technical queries, and ensure product solutions are accurately incorporated into the wider project design documentation. Support site surveys and attend project sites as required, verifying dimensions against factory drawings ahead of delivery and identifying any installation constraints in advance. Specification & Quotation Support Prepare detailed product specifications and item-by-item quotations using proprietary configurator tools, ensuring all finishes, dimensions, and options are correctly captured and priced. Work closely with sales consultants to translate client briefs and design intent into accurate product selections, advising on configuration options, technical constraints, and value engineering alternatives where appropriate. Update quotations and specifications in response to design revisions, client change requests, and factory feedback, maintaining a clear and auditable revision trail throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements: Experience & Qualifications - Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a technical drawing, CAD draughting, or interior design role, ideally within a furniture, fitted interiors, joinery, or architecture practice. - Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Working knowledge of Revit is strongly preferred; experience with additional software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, V-Ray, or similar rendering tools is a significant advantage. - Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, and sections, and to produce coordinated furniture drawing packages in response. - Experience working on large-scale residential or hospitality projects with multi-unit drawing requirements is highly desirable, given the nature of Singapore's contract project portfolio. - A diploma or degree in interior design, architecture, or a related technical discipline is preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
