Innovation Challenge & Scouting Executive

Job Description We are seeking a motivated and resourceful Innovation Challenge & Scouting Executive to play a crucial role in supporting the operations and scouting efforts. Your responsibilities will span across operations and scouting for innovative start-ups that align with our strategic initiatives. If you are passionate about technology, innovation, and driving impactful outcomes, this role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of tech innovation, entrepreneurship, and acceleration. Key Responsibilities Operations Support: ● Support the running of the innovative start-ups platform, including design of the challenge sites, managing enquiries and reporting of statistics. ● Assist in the onboarding and support of start-ups within the acceleration platform. ● Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate networking and guidance for start-ups. ● Contribute to organising events, workshops, and meet-ups to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing. Scouting support: ● Identify and scout for promising startups that align with client’s strategic goals and innovation challenges. ● Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and startups in deep tech domains like AI, quantum computing, sensors and robotics, advanced materials, cybersecurity etc. ● Evaluate the potential of startups through due diligence and analysis. Administrative Support: ● Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and managing documentations. ● Provide logistical support for events and activities. Requirements: ● Diploma or higher in engineering or a related field. ● Strong interest in technology startups, innovation, and entrepreneurship. ● Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills. ● Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritise. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, graphics editing and HTML coding. ● Familiarity with designing AI workflows and leveraging Claude for process automation is a strong plus. ● Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn. ● Resourceful in sourcing information and can work independently with minimal supervision.
