General Manager, Aftersales (4S Operations)

About the Role BYD by 1826 is seeking an experienced General Manager, Aftersales to lead the setup and operations of our first full-scale 4S flagship automotive facility in Singapore. BYD by 1826 has sold over 5,000 BYD vehicles to date and is expecting a continued growth of 5,000 BYD car sales/year ahead, this role will oversee and scale the entire aftersales function, including workshop operations, spare parts, warranty, PDI, and body & paint. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a high-growth aftersales business from the ground up . Current openings for our 4S flagship automotive facility include: General Manager, Aftersales Parts Manager, Aftersales Workshop Manager Service Manager Technician Lead Key Responsibilities Lead the setup and day-to-day operations of a full 4S aftersales facility Oversee workshop performance, including productivity, quality, and turnaround time Build and manage teams across service, technical, parts, and warranty functions Establish parts inventory strategy to ensure availability and efficiency Manage warranty and claims processes in line with manufacturer standards Drive customer experience, satisfaction, and retention Oversee bodyshop operations Own aftersales P&L and key operational KPIs Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and EV standards Requirements Minimum 10 years of automotive aftersales experience At least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g. Service Manager / Aftersales Head) Strong experience in workshop operations and team management Background in authorised dealership or distributor environment Experience with EV or new energy vehicles is an advantage Proven ability to build, scale, and optimize aftersales operations Why Join Us Join Singapore’s fastest-growing automotive EV platform Lead the aftersales development within our full 4S ecosystem High-impact leadership role with strong growth potential Work closely with senior management and partners Compensation Competitive salary package aligned with senior leadership roles Performance-based incentives Application Note We welcome applications from experienced aftersales leaders across the automotive industry who are looking to take on a strategic, build-and-scale leadership role .
